During winters from November to April due to heavy snowfall, Kedarnath is submerged in the show. Therefore the best time to visit is during summers especially from May to October. Especially September and October are considered high time. though Kedarnath is a very economical place due to its high demand it’s almost booked throughout the time so in order to visit there, one must make sure to have a prior booking.

Gaurikund is the last point that connects a motorable road with other major cities of Uttrakhand. After that, a trek of nearly 14 kilometers leads to your destination Kedarnath. Buses and taxies are available from almost all the cities.
Rishikesh has situated 215 km from Kedarnath which is considered the nearest station that connects all the major places.

The nearest airport located is JollyGrant situated 238 km from Kedarnath. Jolly grant airport is well connected with cities like Delhi. Roads are also well connected from the airport to Gaurikund followed by a trek of 14 kilometers to reach your desired destination which is the beautiful Kedarnath Dham.
